Are you interested in low to no carb diets? Low to no carb diets are really all of the rage right now. Everyone is on some type of diet these days. The most popular have to be the Atkins and the South Beach Diet. I just wonder if they are really good for you. There has been a few times in my life when I have had problems with my weight and decided to start on a low card diet. But they really never worked for me. I didn't have the energy and I always felt hungry. I decided that I to do a little bit of research and what I found was very interesting to me.
Low to no carb diets are going to reduce the variety that you have in your diets. These diets can cause you to binge on unhealthy foods that have a high sugar and fat content. You will usually start binging later in the afternoon. Low to no carb diets will cause you to feel dizzy when you stand up and you could even faint due to no carbs or very few carbs in your system. Your chance of developing heart disease will be higher with those low to no carb diets.
After reviewing my research I've come to the conclusion that having a low to no carb diet is not a very good choice. It's a better idea to have a well balanced diet that has vegetables and fruits along with regular exercising. It has also been proven that eating six small meals a day is better then eating three big meals a day. Eating small meals speeds up the metabolism.
The secret is to eat healthy foods, exercise, and take care of yourself in every other way. Get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water. Try drinking 6-8 glasses of water per day. You will feel so much better is you just do this simple task.
