Losing weight is a challenge. Personally I thought I loved to be challenged but this is on aspect were I would like it to go smoothly. If you are going to defy your own basic instincts you better be convinced because it is not to be taken lightly.
If you just want to lose the weight for one special occasion like a wedding, anniversary or something like that, it is easier because fast weight loss sadly also means a short term weight loss. You are extremely likely to gain those pounds again but that is a completely different story.
If you aim at losing 15 pounds in less than one month there are a few things you need to consider. You should start exercising and you must change your diet. Doing this for a limited time is achievable even if you think that you are lazy. Once the scale starts to show less, you will be more motivated and maybe you are in for a change of your lifestyle, stranger things has happened you know.
A change in lifestyle is what we (the overweight population) needs. We have to stop going on yoyo diets and find the right diet for us. All of the guaranteed diets are not for all of us either. We have different current lifestyles and after we change we will still be different. Living the healthy lifestyle doesn't mean that you convert into the mainstream, you are still unique.
Back on track. You are overweight because of a ration, the ration between how many calories you consume and how many calories you burn. It is as simple as that. You already knew that on I presume. But did you know that some types of calories convert into fat easier than other calories?
We want to burn fat and to burn fat effectively we need to have low insulin levels and a steady level of sugar in the blood. The ability to burn fat increase with a certain type of training and the time of day also affects if you will burn fat. Strange? Maybe, but it is the truth.
