As would be expected in the world of weight loss, and products appearing on the market specifically designed to aid in weight loss, Mega-T Green Tea Pills has favorable endorsements, and negative commentary pertaining to the use of the product. Mostly favorable, since apparently it works well. The negatives come from the combination of ingredients used to make it work. Simply stated, Mega-T does not work just by being a green tea product. And, the marketing of it is geared towards making the user believe (it says this on the box) that they will lost 20 lbs in a week. Of course, nobody reads the fine print that says results will vary, but it's there in smaller print. What attracts people is that the reputation is that of a product that works very well. Testimonials are positive, and there appears to be little in the way of negative side affects. However, there is little in the way of scientific information that accompanies the product, and even less scientific research that supports it. As in most Green Tea products, it rests upon the positive reputation for results. And, supporting documentation suggests to users that proper diet and exercise should accompany it to get maximum results.
What then are the negatives? The principle negatives seem to be that it contains ingredients that have been earmarked as causing jittery behavior, racing of the heart. and interference with sleep. What are these ingredients? Fairly high doses of caffeine, chromium, garcinia camogia, and, only recently the addition of guarana, and, especially green tea extract which is what separates it from other diet pills. In fact, Mega-T Green Tea Pills isn't marketed as a diet pill. It is marketed as a "healthy alternative to diet pills". The image that it promotes is that of a part of a healthy lifestyle, not just a short term fix like a diet pill is. And, while it contains the aforementioned ingredients that has some skeptics showing it disfavor, none of the negative side affects appear to be displaying themselves. And, not to be overlooked, is the ease of finding it in stores (it can be found on the shelves of Wal-Mart) and the affordability of the product.
In summation, the reports are favorable, but some of the contents are controversial. The ingredients being from green tea extract from the Camellia sinesis plants of the orient, and working on the basis of the polyphenol flavenoids of EGCG in a respectable dosage per pill is favorable. The addition of guarana would seem to have raised some concerns to some users, but the jury is still out on that, caffeine is not unusual in any weight loss product and the other ingredients are no different. Mega-T appears to have been favorably incorporated into the lifestyle changes of many people along with the change to a healthy diet and more exercise, and none of the negative fears have been realized. Join that with availability, and affordability, and there appears to be a winning combination.
