Belly Fat Exercises That You Can Do to Succeed!

So, you're surfing the web searching for the some good belly fat exercises. I assume that means you want to lose some belly fat. Okay, first off, I want to make it very clear to you that exercise alone will not burn that belly fat. And second, it is going to take a lot of work on your part to lose that belly fat. You have to lower your body fat percentage, before you will see those abdominals show.

Now, this article is only going to discuss the exercise portion of the equation.

Okay, first off, you need to adopt a total body thinking. No more doing 1000s of crunches or sit-ups, as that will definitely build your abs, but it wont burn the fat covering them up. To expose them and flatten that belly you need to start doing some weight and strength training as well as cardiovascular training.

Why should you start weight training? Isn't long slow cardio the way to lose fat? No, it is not. Weight training has been shown, and confirmed in many studies, to speed up a person's metabolism and keep it up for up to 48 hours after exercising. The standard slow cardio cannot stand up to that.

You need to be doing interval training. What is interval training? Give yourself 2 minutes to warm up at 50%. Then for go at 90% for 30 seconds. Slow back down to 50% for another 1:30, then speed up to 90% for 30 seconds again. Rinse wash repeat, 6 or 8 cycles. This is FAR superior than the traditional way of doing cardio.
