Weight Loss - Two Radically Different Diets That Work

Dieting is like quitting smoking. People start all the time but rarely succeed long term. The fact is that most diets work for most people if you can stick to them, but some diets will work much better for you. The results may be quicker, they may be easier to stay on, or simply more pleasant. Here a couple of radically different diets that work for many people including myself and hopefully you.

Low carb diets. Low carb diets restrict carbohydrates, often severely. The best known may be the Atkins diet. In general you can eat all you want of no to low carb food like eggs, meat, fish, poultry and more meat. These tend to be high fat carnivore diets and yes, can east all you want and often still lose significant weight. This does work very well for me, although some people find them impossible to stay on. I like meat, and you never go hungry on this diet as you can eat all you want.

Low fat diets. Low fat diets are the other extreme. You restrict how much fat you can east, often very severely. People on low fat diets often count " fat grams"; how many grams of fat they consume for the day. Low fat diets work, no doubt about it, and are probably very healthy. Of course little or no butter, cheese, meat, and so forth is allowed, and many low fat foods are pretty bland and tasteless. Many however are also delicious like whole grain reads and fruits!

Lots of diets can work. Find one that you like and that likes you!
