Do pre-made diet meal plans work? That's the question that every person asks before signing up for a jenny craig or weight watchers program. These meals are really pricey so you don't want to waste your hard earned money on something that promises huge results, but doesn't deliver. Let's take a look at what could happen if you went onto one of these programs so you'll know whether they will work for you or not.
For one these meals are generally very small. So if you don't have the self-control to only eat your prescribed meals then these programs are not for you. You may be very hungry your first week or two as your stomach shrinks so this will take a lot of self control. A lot of people fail to make it past a few weeks before they cave in or call it quits.
Another problem may be that you won't have a large choice in the foods you eat. If you like eating a variety of foods then these types of diets may not work for you either. That's not to mention that most of these meals will not be packing much if any flavor. There are a couple that are okay, but if you like eating tasty foods rich with flavor then pre-made diet meals may not be right for you. Based on all of these scenarios you will definitely want to think long and hard if you think you could successfully lose weight with one of these plans and not call it quits after a week or two.
