What's more more beneficial: drinking Resveratrol grape juice each day or just taking a capsule?
Dr Oz, the celebrity dietitian on the Oprah show recently carried out a review on this longevity supplement which has hit the anti-aging market by storm.
In case you are not aware, Resv as it's also known is a fungi which grows naturally in many fruit and vegetables to help protect plants from dangerous microbe bacterias. If consumed however it is shown to be a proven artery scrubber due to its high concentration of natural anti-oxidants.
Also, consumption of this flavanoid-rich red grape skin which contains Resv can, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign argue, decrease the escalation of an enzyme that generates growth of cancer cells in the human body.
All this comes as welcome news as America and the west have some of the worst artery related illness statistics due to a staple diet rich in fat and carbs coupled with little exercise.
So, which can be more beneficial, Resveratrol grape juice or a Resv supplement pill?
Well, on the cost side, grape juice is pricier and it's difficult to really judge how much your consuming as levels on the packaging can be distorted.
You may be supplementing your diet with more Resv than say women do in Sardinia who consume it daily in their local tipple of red wine, but whether or not you may be able to match their longevity is arguable.
However, supplement pills are F.D.A approved and come in 20mg to 50mg capsules and each bottle contains 60 capsules which is roughly the equivalent to 1000 bottles of red wine so the concentrations are obviously high!
If you take a pill, you do lose the added hydration qualities that some Resveratrol grape juice will offer but knowing that the product is medically approved plus you can alter concentration levels and be sure your getting your money's worth is a safer bet.
