A parasite cleanse is a natural way to chase the parasites out of the body. The parasites can reside in all areas of the body, and a thorough cleanse will help to wash them out. The cleanse can take anywhere from several weeks to several months, depending on the type of parasite that dwells inside of you. While on a parasite cleanse, it is important to avoid certain foods that tend to feed the parasites.
Sugar
Sugar is one of the most liked foods by the parasites, as it makes them stronger. Therefore it is important to avoid all forms of sugar. This includes white or brown processed sugar, sugar substitutes, as well as all junk foods.
All baked goods such as cakes, cookies and pies need to go. Most desserts are also high in sugar, and thus need to go as well.
In addition, many fruits are high in sugar as well, and therefore they should be avoided. However, if sugar cravings do arise, fruits are a much better choice than any type of processed sugar, as they will not clog the system. Furthermore, fruits are high in fiber, which is helpful in eliminating parasites.
Starch
Starchy foods also feed the parasites, and therefore need to be avoided while on a parasite cleanse. Examples of starchy foods include breads, cereals, pasta, beans and nuts and seeds.
Animal Products
Meats, dairy and dairy products, eggs and fish not only feed the parasites, but they can also clog the digestive tract and slow down the elimination of the parasites. It is very important to have a clean digestive tract in order for the body to be able to eliminate the parasites effectively.
Another reason these should be eliminated is because they are high in saturated fats. Parasites will feed on any type of unhealthy saturated fat, and thus all hydrogenated oils need to be avoided as well.
Processed Foods
Another type of food to eliminate while on a parasite cleanse is processed food. This includes canned, boxed, frozen and bottled foods. Any vegetable or fruit juices, crackers, sauces and dressings should be avoided. This is because the parasites will feed off of anything that is unnatural, and it strengthens them.
The Foods To Eat
The foods to consume while on a parasite cleanse include foods that are high in fiber, namely vegetables in this case, as they will not feed the parasites. Cucumbers, tomatoes, leafy greens, garlic, hot peppers, pumpkin seeds and coconut oil are excellent foods as well.
