Starting a diet plan may make some of us nervous. What is it that makes us nervous? Our emotions are key and we must focus on them to get through this. Our logic tells us that we must get on this diet soon, but our emotions drive us down a different road.
How do we become emotionally free and not let emotions dictate our outcome? This will absolutely change your life, so pay attention, not only in your diet, but in any conflict you run into in your life.
It is called emotional freedom technique. Gary Craig was the first to figure this out. Although it is often overlooked, emotional health is very important to your physical health and healing.
You can find other articles out there about emotional freedom technique. It is an acupressure technique. A brief explanation is: you tap on certain nerves on your body while saying a certain affirmations like an emotion that holds you back, and forgiving yourself about it. For example, I will be tapping the nerve and say something like "even though I am fat, I deeply and completely forgive myself and accept myself."
There are several simple steps in this technique, but I guarantee you will have fun doing your diet plan, once you get rid of all the emotions or beliefs that are holding you back from within.
Firstly, you must figure out what makes you nervous about a diet plan. Once you figure out exactly what that is, you can just tap every bit of it away. And your diet will be fun, rather than painful.
Now that we have put all emotions aside this diet plan will be much easier for us.
You are going to have to stop drinking all artificial flavored drinks. Anything like fake flavored juices, soda, or practically almost every juice that is not natural contains lots of fats, and sugar.
Of course if you find this difficult to do, the tapping will guarantee that you will get through this step.
Next you will need to drink lots of water, about 64 ounces per day. This will help your food to be broken down much easier, which is very important in your diet plan.
You can also help clean out your stomach by adding lemon in the water (with no sugar.) This is recommended by top health care professionals as an important tool to help anyone maintain a balance diet and a clean out system.
Watching your calorie count should be something you tap on as well. Find that limiting belief inside you that's holding you back from consuming the right calorie count.
Soon you will feel good about yourself and a year will pass, and you will love yourself more than ever for succeeding your diet plan.
