If you decide to do this, make sure to pick a friend who is on the same level as you as far as skill and motivation are concerned. Having a friend to workout with is a good idea for many reasons, the main one being you have someone to push you harder. Having someone that wants to help you succeed in building muscle and strength is never a bad idea.
No matter how you decide to go about working to make yourself bigger and stronger, as long as you keep all of these tips in mind you should have limited problems. Even though it may be difficult at times it is important to remember that without pain there is no gain. There is a lot of satisfaction to be had while getting bigger and stronger, whether it is being able to run faster or longer, or being able to lift more weight.
