Warnings Against Some Diet Pills

Warnings Against Some Diet Pills

Diet pills are becoming the lazy craze of not wanting to go through all the hard work and changing your eating habits to see results. Most people don't have time or the self discipline to lose weight the healthy way. There are some healthy pills out there but FDA has warnings on nearly 30 different weight-loss pills currently being sold on the internet. Some of these pills contain dangerous ingredients that are not suitable for everyone's different make up of their bodies.

Some of these pills are being advertised as being natural, busting fat right off your body with no efforts on your part but to drink down the pills with a glass of water. They give interesting names such as Imelda Perfect Slim and Zhen de Shou that seem to attract dieter's eyes. Even clever slogans such as the product being ancient secrets from Asia are used to attract dieters. All in all, these products promise an easy fix to anyone's current weight problems disregarding listing the actual ingredients on the bottle. FDA reports that some of these unlisted ingredients include suspected carcinogen and doses of anti-obesity drugs on a large scale.

Most of these online diet pills are found to be coming from China and the FDA has actually been testing these dietary supplements and found 28 of them which could land consumers in the emergency room. Figures right? First the led content in our kids toys, and now ingredients that could land you in the hospital. All banking on your desire to lose weight.

Most dietary supplements or weight loss pills China produces is actually sold on the internet. And nearly all of them contain high doses of some sort of appetite suppressant that are related to amphetamines. Amphetamines are known to cause strokes, heart attacks, heart palpitations and high blood pressure especially with people who have existing heart problems or a family history of heart related problems. Another ingredient not listed on the bottle of these diet pills is Sibutramine, which is also found in the prescription drug meridian, known to treat people who suffer from obesity. The only problem with Sibutramine is that there is 3 times the amount then any prescription drug. This is way over the recommended daily use according to the FDA.

So when it comes down to choosing a diet pill that's right for your, be careful and make sure you do your research on what the pills actually contain and what ingredients are not being listed. Because the FDA is actually thinking about moving forward on criminal charges against some of these companies, it's in your best interest to do your research.
