Diet Pills That Really Work - Is There Such a Thing?

Diet Pills That Really Work - Is There Such a Thing?

Many people ask me if I know what diet pills really work. You always want to be careful when you're putting anything into your body. I've investigated this diet pill trend and discovered a couple of interesting things.

1. Appetite suppressants. These got a lot of attention in the late 90's and with good reason. While they do prevent you from getting hungry, they don't get to the root of the problem.

Think about it this way. If you're overeating, will lowering your appetite really stop you from eating more then you should? There is an emotional attachment to overeating and this will not be "cured" with any pill.

If you want to lose weight then you should perhaps look into a calorie shifting program. This will allow you to eat what you want in a way that will work towards your weight loss goals.

2. Supplements. These are the only pills that I ever put into my body. Some of the best things in nature are just not available in the foods we eat on a regular basis.

Supplements are a great way to increase your health and energy (which could lead the desire for some physical activity) but they will not lead to weight loss themselves.

If you really want to lose weight, I suggest you forget about "diet pills that really work" and you get clear on what you want and why you must have it.

Rarely do we take any significant action when we would like to achieve something. But we always take action on the things that we must achieve.

Once you're certain on the goal you want to achieve, then you can get a plan, take action, and see results.
