A little while back nobody talked about how often you poop or about detox cleansers, for that matter. Nowadays, it makes a great topic for conversation and even makes it to talk shows on the telly. Read on to find out how often you should poop.
There seems to be much debate on the subject but, in general, the experts seem to concur that once a day is the ideal number. If you poop less than that and strain to poop, then you may be constipated. If you poop 3-4 times per day or more then you may have diarrhoea. Neither of those situations are healthy for you and you could end up with a spastic colon or, even worse, colon cancer.
So, what can you do if you do not poop once a day? Fortunately, there are quite a few remedies for you that should help you to sort your colon out.
Try to get regular exercise. It'll make you feel better and help make your bowel habits improve. The best is to tackle an exercise that will make you sweat. This is because sweating is a natural way of detoxing! Try to exercise at least 3-4 times per week and for 20 minutes or more per session.
Have you ever heard that you are what you eat? Well, in this case, diet will have a huge impact on your poop habits. What you need to do is to eat as many raw foods as you possibly can. Go online and look for interesting recipes with raw foods. Rather eat salads than cooked food. Nuts are very healthy for you too but not peanuts.
The next point is really important and it is so very simple. You need to drink water, lots of it. It would be best if you could drink filtered water if you possibly can. How much water should you drink? Believe it or not, at least 2 litres per day, is what your body desires. I find that it is quite difficult to drink 8 glasses of water per day but, if I put it in a 750ml bottle and keep it close to me at all times, it makes it a bit easier to achieve this goal.
You could also do a more extreme colon cleanser but it can be quite severe. It involves flushing out your colon with water and, in doing so, all sorts of impurities are dislodged and removed from your colon.
A gentler way to cleanse your colon would be to use a detox cleanser. Not only will you clean up your waste but you'll also lessen your waist.
